    Product Design Degree Course Overview

    Product Design, in a nutshell, establishes the correlation between products, systems and the end user. The emphasis is on responsibility and concern towards the development of sustainable and environment friendly products while developing innovative ideas. Product Design is an all-encompassing domain that covers not only Arts, Design and Media, but also Engineering and building, Technical, Marketing, PR and sales among others. 

    A Product Design Degree or Industrial Design helps you hone your Creative Design or Visual Arts skills. Further, it enables you with the requisite technical ability to utilise production methods and materials creatively. This apart, the Asian Institute of Design’s (BVA) Bachelor of Visual Arts in Product Design also equips you with relevant skills that the employers need.

    Product Design Course Objective

    After completing this course, students will be able to understand the Design principles and theories and also apply them in their projects and practice effectively. The students also gain a thorough knowledge of the Design history, the evolution in Design and its role in the progress of the society. Students will be exposed to design processes, research methodologies for problem solving and Design solutions.
